1. Eligibility & Registration

• Users must be 13+. Under 18s need parental/guardian consent.
• Accurate details must be provided during registration and updated as necessary.
• You are responsible for maintaining password confidentiality & account security.

2. Use of Service

• Do not use LumiBooks for unlawful, harmful, or commercial exploitation of our content or other users.
• No spamming, hacking, scraping, content harvesting, or any automated access not explicitly permitted by us.
• No copying, sharing, modifying, or redistributing books, except as allowed for personal use.
• Content may not be used to build a database or for machine learning without written permission.

3. Ownership, Content & Copyright

• All content (books, reviews, images, code) on LumiBooks is copyright protected and owned by LumiBooks or its partners/authors.
• You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access purchased content for your personal use only.
• No part of LumiBooks may be used for commercial purposes or republished elsewhere without express written permission.

4. Purchases, Credits, and Refunds

• LumiBooks credits can be bought and used for in-app book purchases.
• Credits are virtual, non-refundable, hold no cash value, and are only valid on LumiBooks.
• All purchases are final; refunds only at our sole discretion and required by law.
• We reserve the right to adjust book prices and package offers.

5. Account Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your account for violations (e.g., abuse, fraud, violation of these terms).
• You may close your account at any time — all data, content, purchases, and credits will no longer be accessible.
• Deleted accounts cannot be restored.

6. Disclaimers

• Services are provided as is, with no warranty of uninterrupted, error-free operation.
• We are not responsible for content, books, or third-party materials accessed via LumiBooks or author pages.
• Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

7. Limitations of Liability

• To the maximum extent allowed by law, LumiBooks is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages from use or inability to use our Service.
• Total liability will not exceed any amount paid to us in the preceding 12 months.

8. Modifications and Updates

• We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting on this page.
• Continued use of LumiBooks indicates acceptance of amended terms.
